Remembering Juan Gabriel: Un Día con el Divo de Juárez

September 22, 2016

Juan Gabriel drives the Chihuahuense

line con lagrimas, cross covered

during cuaresma. He sells cacahuates

on the railroad tracks and bags aguacates

in S-Mart sacks. He’s running

for president. He’s washing your windows

and shining your shoes. He’s standing

in the tortilla line right next to you.
